SPWS reports on activities at the intersection of weather and culture, often (but not limited to) the NYC area. We also conduct topical research in a growing list of research areas, currently being archived and categorized on this site. For 2011, we are organizing a series of talks connected to the classical elements (air, water, earth, and fire), which are driving new research topics.
