This approximately 3-minute audio report is a sonification of the May 2009 SPWS data using pure and sampled sound: Billie Holiday performing ‘Some other Spring’. Andrea says that the report “was performed live on a laptop, and in it I was trying to get the data to ‘sing’ like Holiday by using pure tones mixed with a rough scratching. You can hear the clicking of the track pad during the performance, which I left in intentionally.”
